We are pleased to announce Behavioral Health Works (BHW) will be an Autism Specialty Service Provider (SSP) for Early Intervention in Massachusetts as of October 1, 2021.
BHW was recently approved by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to provide Early Intervention services for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.
Our Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI) treatment model is designed for children birth to three years old. Developmentally appropriate, empirically validated assessment tools and caregiver input are used to develop a treatment plan for each child that is person-centered and individualized.
The program’s approach to treatment is naturalistic, using everyday family routines to foster the development of skills and promote independence. Our caring, expert team focuses on increasing each child’s motivation to learn, making each session both fun and functional. BHW strives to provide superior personalized care and adapt to the needs of the child, their family, and the environment.
Services BHW will provide to children and their families as an Autism SSP include:
- Direct services from a team of specialists providing home-based Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention
- Assessments and treatment planning
- Parent training
BHW’s Chief Clinical Officer and BCBA Michael Zhe commented, “Our dedicated team is honored to be selected as an Autism Specialty Service Provider for Early Intervention by the state of Massachusetts. We look forward to continuing to provide positive, long-lasting outcomes for children and their families at every stage of their journey.”
