We are pleased to announce that our first on-site Autism Care & Support Center in Anaheim, CA is now open. 1301 E. Orangewood Ave., Anaheim CA.
For the last decade, the BHW care team has provided individualized outpatient support through in-home programs to families and their loved ones. The new on-site care center takes existing services to new heights with expanded support options for individuals with Autism in one central location.
“We are excited to open this care center as a destination for treatment and support for families across Orange County,” said Michael Zhe, chief clinical officer at Behavioral Health Works. “The services and care that will be offered at the new center will provide families with expert resources and a road map to guide them on their journey to success.”
The new BHW Care and Support Center is located at the existing headquarters at 1301 E Orangewood Ave in Anaheim, Calif. Services offered at the care center include Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), occupational therapy, speech therapy, developmental assessment and early intervention, social skills groups, parent training and will soon include sibling and family support groups. The programs at the Anaheim care center will be led by Regional Clinical Director Sora Lee, who has more than a decade of experience supporting families with Autism, and helping them to achieve meaningful results. Her background in early intervention has also proved to be an invaluable resource for families eager to build an early road map to success.
“BHW is proud to offer families true 360-degree care for their loved ones. From in-home, to telehealth and this new care center, our team of experts can support and guide families across the southland through data-driven programs that help families reach their goals and achieve breakthroughs,” said Zhe. “This is transformational support for our community and we’re excited to see each child and their family achieve their goals.”
The Care Center is open for support Monday–Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will offer Saturday support as needed. This is BHW’s first on-site Autism Care & Support Center and the team plans to open at least three more centers in major regions over the course of 2021. BHW’s clinical team currently focuses its offerings throughout California, in the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, the Mid-Atlantic, Texas, the Mountain West and the Greater Boston Area.
