Thank a Kindergarten Teacher Today as you Reminisce the Good Ol’ Days of Not Having a Care in the World.
Without kindergarten teachers, we wouldn’t know what the alphabet is, wouldn’t have learned all those nursery rhymes, and sharing with others would’ve be non-existent. BHW is proud to work with such great Kindergarten teachers everyday and would like to thank them for their hard work and dedication in the Kindergarten classroom. In honor of this momentous day, BHW would like to share a few tips on how you can help make the most of your little one’s Kindergarten year!
- Sleep Schedule: One of the most difficult tasks is getting your child on a normal sleep schedule. To avoid the morning ‘grouchies’ and tantrums, try getting your child on a routine. This will yield a higher likelihood for a good night’s sleep for all to be ready for the next day’s adventures.
- Be Prepared: No matter how much you try to get your child on a sleep schedule, there will always be a possibility that they oversleep. Because of this, it is wise to have everything prepared the night before. For example, make sure your child picks their outfit and check the weather channel to assure that this is the ideal outfit for the day. If possible, also make an effort to pack their lunches the night before!
- Review Your Child’s School Lessons: Being on top of your child’s school work is key! By reviewing what your child learned that school day and working on the subjects that your child is struggling with, you will not only prevent your child from falling behind but will also assure that they are a superstar in the classroom! Dust off those books and study those letters, your child will definitely appreciate the assistance and the extra bonding time spent with you.
On this National Kindergarten Day, don’t forget to give a teacher an apple filled with gratitude and remember the great progress that your little one is making everyday in the classroom. Kindergarten teachers are our educators who pave the platform for our future professionals!
