We are pleased to announce that our on-site Autism Care & Support Center in Downey, CA is NOW OPEN – 10445 Lakewood Blvd #103 Downey, CA 90241.
For the last decade, the BHW care team has provided individualized ABA services through in-home programs to families and their loved ones. Our on-site care centers take existing services to new heights with expanded support options for individuals with autism in one central location.
“We are excited to continue to grow by opening our third care center in Los Angeles! This Center is designed to provide expert treatment and support for families across Los Angeles County,” said Michael Zhe, Chief Clinical Officer and BCBA at Behavioral Health Works. “Our objective is to achieve meaningful, long-lasting outcomes for each individual and their family. We are honored to continue to serve Los Angeles County, and we are thrilled about the possibilities of offering access to a variety of services under one roof.”
The new BHW Care and Support Center is located in Downey, California. Services offered at the Care Center include Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), social skills groups, parent training, family support and sibling groups. Programs at the Downey Care Center will be led by Regional Clinical Director Peter Ahn who has more than 10 years of experience supporting individuals with autism, and helping them to achieve meaningful results. Peter’s extensive knowledge and experience in ABA services make him a remarkable leader of the BHW team.
“Our mission is to serve as guides for families by developing personalized child and family treatment plans, implementing data-driven programs, and supporting them on their journey to success.” In relation to COVID-19 restrictions Zhe continues, “We are thankful to be able to continue to provide ongoing, uninterrupted support and treatment to our families during this time. Your well-being is out priority. Health and safety measures continue to be taken at all of our Care Centers, including temperature checks upon arrival, daily health screenings, sanitizing between sessions, and the wearing of required face coverings.”
The Care Center is open for support Monday–Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday by appointment. This is BHW’s third on-site Autism Care & Support Center. Read about BHW’s Care & Support Center in Orange County here and the Inland Empire here.
