BHW Attends the OC Autism Walk 6 Years in a Row!
This past Sunday (December 5th), Behavioral Health Works participated in the 11th Annual OC Autism Walk at the Anaheim Angel’s Stadium! It was a day filled with fun activities, raising awareness and generating funds for continued research on autism. This opportunity allowed us to provide informational material on the services we provide to well over 12,000 individuals in the Orange County region! To spruce up our booth, we had the opportunity to be accompanied by our very own BHW Storm Trooper along with Tobi the Balloon Twister to entertain all of our guests that stopped by! In addition, BHW proudly sponsored UCLA’s Autism Speaks Society in an effort to assist them in their annual Holiday Gram fundraiser. Thanks to amazing organizations like UCLA’s Autism Speaks and the OC Autism Speaks chapters, we are able to get the resources needed and disseminated to parents in need of services. May the awareness and advocating for autism not stop here now that our walk is over. Let’s continue the momentum to get out the word, stay informed on Autism news and continue the rally to further our research on autism! Have a great rest of the week!
